In 2010, Alvin stood on the graduation stage at the United Methodist University, a mix of excitement and apprehension swirling in his chest. He had spent his college years passion- ately sharing his faith, igniting a spark in those around him. Now, as he stepped into the world, he was determined to continue this mission.
After 10 years on GCML staff, I (Edwin) got married to Madea in 1994. As the ministry began to expand, the need to develop human capa- civty became obvious. The need for capable local staff to one day take over the local ministry was realized during this early stage.
The Magdalena - Women of Transformation, Women Encounter started January 2018 in Liberia. It was birth from the Magdalena women conference we attended in Ethiopia, August 2017. We were encouraged by what we saw happening there and motivated to start in Liberia.
